Your copay amounts will usually be listed on the front or back of your health insurance ID card. Since we are a specialty office, you may need to check with your insurance before your visit.
Not all plans use copays.
Coinsurance is the portion of the medical expenses you pay after your insurance pays their portion. Coinsurance is a way of saying that you and your insurance company each pay a share of the expenses that add up to 100 percent. For instance, your share may be 20% and your insurance company 80% to equal 100%.
Your copay is the flat fee you pay each time you go to the doctor or fill a prescription (i.e. $20). Your deductible is the amount you pay each year before your health plan begins to share in the cost of covered services (i.e. $2,000) .
If you have not met your deductible for the year, or forgot to pay your copay in office, you may receive a billing statement.
Our biller mails out statements at the end of every month. Please be advised that statements may be delayed due to the impact of COVID-19 on the postal service.
You can pay your bill in the office, by phone, or by mail. We take credit cards, debit cards, checks, exact cash (overages can be applied to future bills/copays), and HSA cards.
We accept most insurances.
We do not bill Workers Compensation or Auto Accidents/Claims.
Please check with your insurance to see if authorization is needed for your visit.
